We were recently contracted to put together a Juicy Couture inspired 13th birthday celebration at Judy’s Place in Brooklyn. Initially the client wanted helium party/topiary balls created in pink and brown floated above each of the tabels, but during the site inspection we noticed the ceilings in the venue weren’t that high, and highboy/cocktail tables would be used—limiting the “air” space we had for helium filled designs. To give the client a similar look we suggested making air filled topiary centerpieces. Each pedestal was topped with a topiary cluster of balloons, with the base wrapped in coordinating pink and brown tissue paper. At the base we also created clusters of small balloons to add some character and a bit of pizzaz.

Kids love to see their names spelled out on anything; and balloons are no exceptions. To personalize the venue we used mylar letters to spell out the birthday girl’s name and incorporated a mylar diamond crown to tie in with the Juicy Couture theme.

We designed the dessert table to be symmetric and balanced on each side. A three-tiered cupcake tower was placed in the middle and on each side 4 apothecary glass jars (8 in total) were filled with an assortment pink and chocolate candy and treats. Using ceramice letter dishes, we spelled the birthday girl’s name and filled with alternating pink and brown candy. The birthday girl absolutely loves Juicy Couture purses, so we contracted Millie Peartree of Mille Peartree Cupcakes & More to create a custom purse cake to sit at the top tier along with seven dozen mini cupcakes cascading down on the second & third tiers. A satin expresso colored cloth draped the table, with pink diamonds sprinkled about for that extra touch of girlie fabulousness!

Two balloon columns topped with diamond crowns were placed on each end of the table to coordinate with the theme, and above the table we hung three handmade tissue poms, to add a subtle touch of color and balance out design without over doing it.

We had the pleasure of decorating an 8th Grade Prom at Bronx Museum of the Arts. Magically floating above each table, balloon topiary balls (aka party balls) in Pearl Sapphire and Gold, and for the stage we created 4 balloon trees, each topped with the numbers 2,0,1,2.

We just love the color combination for this outdoor garden celebration in Brooklyn, NY. When our client told us her favorite color was Orange, instantly we knew Fuchsia was the perfect match for this summer evening event.
Instead of tying a boring bunch of balloons to the entrance, we attached this pretty arrangement on the outside of the beautiful wooden doors to let guest know where the party was at.

In the backyard gardening space, we draped the railing with balloon garland, to add a touch of festivity to venue.

To add a pop of color in the air, we created Fantasy Clouds for each of the tables scatter around outside.

This color combo against the natural outdoor backdrop made for stunning photos!
We’d been in search of a fun & chic way to organize our inventory of decorating balloons and didn’t want to settle for stacked plastic bins. I spent a day on Ikea and The Container Store’s website, but didn’t find anything that fit our needs. The next day, I headed over to Target.com and to my luck came across ClosetMaid® Cubeicals Storage System. They have a huge selection of colors, sizes, and designs to choose from, to fit your every need. I settled for the 9-cube organizers in white to place in the corner hall between two closets.
I ordered 4 sets of 9-cube organizers, and 36 fabric pouches/drawers. The fabric pouches come in an array of colors; we went with the Red, Ocean Blue, Sahara Yellow, and Spring Green. It took about 1 1/2 hours to put all four together and to stack them.
The Before: approximately 200 bags of latex balloons stuffed in two long plastic bins and 3 duffle like bags

The After: approximately 200 bags of latex balloons organized by color, size and shape. Well worth the investment!!!

Last weekend we decorate a chic Brooklyn loft for a baby shower. Bunch of Balloon provide the balloon decor, but it was also our first stab at designing a dessert table; and it came out just as we expected, FABULOUS!!! The color palette Mint Green & Ivory with a touch of Silver was the perfect combination to celebrate the bundle of joy on the way!

And here’s the beautiful couple….

London based WAH Nails took over W Union Square New York hotel to host “The WAH Club” a huge party in celebration of their new book The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art. Bunch of Balloons provide the balloons for the affair as well as for their pop-up nail salon in Soho. 170 Silver Mylar Balloons with neon orange ribbon was used for both events!

On April 16th cities around the world celebrated FourSquare Day. 42 = 16, hence the 4/16 date. So what is Foursquare Day? It’s a global social media holiday that was first observed on April 16, 2010 in hundreds of cities around the world in honor of the New York City location-based service startup. This year’s event, organized by WTHIB Events and hosted at The Caulfield was decorated by Bunch of Balloons. Here are a few of our favorite pics from the events.

Bunch of Balloons had the pleasure of decorating Brooklyn’s most famous landmark, the spectacular former Williamsburgh Savings Bank Clocktower at One Hanson for EscapeMaker.com’s Local Food & Travel Expo. An Art Deco masterpiece, this building is a site to see! Soaring 63-ceilings tell the story of New York’s past through iconography, mosaic murals, carved teller stations and 22 kinds of marble. The power of balloons is illustrated through these photos. Here you have an architectural icon accented with balloon decor! The notion that balloons are just for kids is put to rest after seeing this fantastic setup!

Each Romanesque column was accented with a 30’ foot single line column created on twine. To represent the different food groups at the expo, various colors were used, which also doubled as visual queues to direct attendees to specific areas of the venue. To add a pop of color to the valut, over 100 red and blue balloons were used.

We recently provided balloon decor for a surprise 50th Birthday dinner at Riverpark Restaurant. The birthday boy loves to golf so his wife wanted to incorporate the colors green & blue into the decor while keeping the decor festive, yet class to match Riverpark’s great interior design. We recommend our number #1 seller, Party Balls in Gold and Pearlized Sapphire & Emerald Green for the dinner table. The client also wanted to highlight the photos and life accomplishments on display with balloon bouquets—we jazzed up with collars and curl accents. Once the decor was in place, the room looked absolutely stunning!
